How to join

Anyone over the age of 16 who lives or works (includes voluntary work) in County Durham can join Durham County Credit Union.

How to become a member of Durham County Credit Union

You will need to:

Produce two forms of identification showing:

• Current home address plus your employment address if residing outside of County Durham.
• Date of Birth
• Proof of Name

Pay a one off £1 membership fee (Young Savers do not pay a membership fee).

Request an application form for members at any of our service points, by post, by email or by telephone.  Alternatively, you can download one from our Credit Union Forms page.

Complete the form and take it with your two documents of proof of identity to a service point or send to :
